How will central government finances and the Swedish economy develop? What will the central government borrowing requirement be in the coming years? The Swedish National Debt Office (Riksgälden) presents its final borrowing forecast of the year.
Riksgälden publishes forecasts for central government finances and borrowing requirements twice a year. On 26 November at 09:30, this year’s second Central Government Borrowing Report will be published on riksgalden.se in both Swedish and English.
The report includes Riksgälden’s forecasts for the Swedish economy and the central government budget balance for 2026–2028, as well as its funding plan for government borrowing.
Members of the media are invited to submit questions about the report by email to press@riksgalden.se. Interviews with Riksgälden’s experts can also be arranged following publication.
