Risk analyses
The Debt Office’s coordination assignment includes the improvement of the central government’s management of loans and guarantees. We therefore publish an annual report with assessments of the risks involved in the central government guarantee and lending portfolio.
The Debt Office is one of several government agencies that provide government guarantees and loans. But we are also tasked with conducting risk analyses of the central government’s overall guarantees and lending. The report is published in collaboration with the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning (Boverket), the Swedish Board of Student Finance (CSN) and SIDA (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency) – which are other government agencies that provide guarantees and loans.
The aim of the report is to contribute to increased transparency regarding the risks.
