Financial and risk policy

The financial and risk policy gathers rules, frameworks, benchmarks, etc. for management of risks that arise in the Debt Office’s activities. It furthermore specifies certain principles for the conduct of operations.

The Government’s guideline decision for central government debt management entails that the Debt Office shall establish intermediate goals and internal guidelines for the operational management of the debt. The financial and risk policy translates the Government’s guidelines decisions into operational decisions that guide daily borrowing and debt management.
