The statistics, which are part of the Official Statistics of Sweden, are reported according to the regulations and principles that applied at the time of publication. Historical data in tables and diagrams on this website have been recalculated to comply with current principles. These numbers may therefore differ somewhat from those originally published in the reports.

As of November 2017, Commercial paper is included in the reporting of Liquidity management instruments instead of being reported separately. This is only a change in the presentation of the central government debt and has no implications for the debt level. The change in reporting aims to clarify that Commercial paper is used among other sources of funding within the liquidity management.
